Green World South Africa Johannesburg Branch Explores Cooperation with Free State Department of Agriculture in South Africa

Bloemfontein, Free State, South Africa — August 5th, 2026. Green World South Africa Johannesburg Branch was invited to attend a high-level cooperation meeting organized by the Free State Department of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environmental Affairs, in collaboration with Glen College. The meeting focused on key topics including agricultural research, talent development, industrial empowerment, and market expansion. Through in-depth discussions, the participating parties identified potential areas of cooperation and outlined future action plans, achieving fruitful outcomes. The meeting was convened by Mr. Mmuso Tsoametsi, (DDG – Deputy Director General). Government representatives and experts including Frans Joseph (Research Scientist/Advisor to the HoD), Thabiso Mokhesengoane (Agric Advisor)，Thabiso Letsoara (Acting Director - Legal services), Mavis Masemola (Research Scientist), George Madiba (Acting General Manager - District Services), Zandi Moloi (Manager - Extension), Amos Radebe (Assistant Manager - Farmer Support), Tebogo Mohlapo (Research Scientist/Acting Director) participated in the meeting. Representing Green World International Group, Mr. Glory Guo, General Manager of Green World South Africa Johannesburg Branch, led the delegation, including Ms. Neronence Moyo, Three-star Director and Mr. Khumo Magano, senior distributor, to attend the discussions.

During the meeting, the participating parties reached preliminary consensus on several key cooperation areas, including sharing agricultural research achievements, establishing a joint committee to advance cooperation projects, focusing on agricultural extension and food security, developing research and pilot project plans, and jointly building demonstration centers. These initiatives aim to help farmers transform knowledge into practical applications and improve agricultural productivity, to support local farmers in developing export channels and exploring opportunities to enter the Chinese market. All participants expressed their commitment to leveraging their respective strengths, strengthening collaboration, and transforming the cooperation vision into tangible results. Together, they aim to promote agricultural modernization in Free State Province, increase farmers’ income, and contribute to food security.
At the conclusion of the meeting, all participants took a group photo and expressed strong confidence in the future prospects of cooperation.
